Can you soak bammy in water?
Mehetta Bammies are not to be soaked in water. Our high quality bammies are made fresh and they are soft. They can be prepared without soaking.
How do I prepare Mehetta bammies?
Other bammies are sometimes soaked in coconut milk but our premium quality Mehetta Bammies do not require soaking as they are made fresh with natural ingredients.
What is bammy made of?
Bammy is made from grated cassava (yuca or manioc) spun dried and baked into a kind of flatbread. Here at Mehetta Bammies we have revolutionized the traditional bammy by infusing natural herbs and spices to add new varieties like garlic, cinnamon, smoked paprika & sage, scotch bonnet ginger and coconut.
Is bammy healthy?
Bammy is very healthy. It offers no saturated fat nor cholesterol and it is high in fibre.
What if I have allergies?
Check the nutrition facts for the ingredients in any of our products before you make a purchase. The main ingredient in bammy is cassava. According to WebMD, cassava may cause an allergic reaction in people who are sensitive to latex. Cassava may lower the amount of iodine absorbed by the body. For people who already have low levels of iodine, eating cassava might make this condition worse.
I have an allergy to some ingredients; do you offer custom made bammies?
Our bammies are made using only cassava as our base – as such, we do not provide custom made bammies.
Do you provide nutritional & calorie information?
Yes, each package of our bammies provide the nutrition and calorie information. The Nutrition Facts label provides detailed information about our bammies nutritional content.
Will my bammies stay fresh?

Where do your ingredients come from?
Our cassava is sourced from the Caribbean region and our ingredients are sourced from top suppliers in Ontario.
I want to return my purchase! What do I do?
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. When returning products shipping will be at the expense of the customer.
How long does it take for me to get a refund?
Returns will be processed within 7-14 business days.
How Can I Cancel Or Change My Order?
Orders can be cancelled if they have not yet been completed and out for delivery.
Orders cannot be cancelled if they are fulfilled and been delivered. Due to our strict Covid-19 protocols we are unable to accept orders that have already been fulfilled and out for delivery.

Shipping – $18 (flat fee)
Canada post (Canada-wide) – this is programmed to come up if shipping address is outside of the local delivery zones.
Local delivery – $10 (flat fee)

When can I expect my delivery?
Canada post delivers within 2-3 business days. Due to Covid-19, delays may occur however for an up to date status please check Canada Post’s
website – https://www.canadapost-postescanada.ca/cpc/en.
Local delivery is same same day or next day if order is placed after 1pm.
Where can I change the address and delivery date of my delivery?
You may change your delivery address and date as long as your order has not yet been shipped.
I live in a condo building with no concierge, how can I get my Mehetta Bammies delivered to me?
Customers will need to provide specific details on how, where and when they would like their bammies delivered. We will do our best to accommodate your specific request
My order was not delivered in the specified time. What should I do?
You will be able to track your orders with Canada Post. If your order arrives late, please notify us immediately and we will provide you a gift card for your next order.
My order did not arrive. What should I do?
We take your orders very seriously and appreciate all our customers. If you have not received your order within the specified delivery window, contact us immediately.
Can I track my order
Orders delivered via Canada Post can be tracked. Local deliveries cannot be tracked.

Do you charge sales tax on any item?
No. Bammy is a zero tax rated item.
